Orthodontic Assistant
Performance Expectations – Essential Functions:
- 1-3 years of orthodontic experience in a practice dedicated to a high standard of care
- A reputation for having an excellent demeanor with patients and colleagues
- Experience working efficiently and contributing as a team member
Performance Expectations:
- Effective communication and accurate patient education
- Ability to establish trust and provide care in all patient interactions
- Excellent chairside assisting in four-handed dentistry
- Acquire clear, diagnostic quality digital radiographs
- Remain focused on a positive patient experience while performing job tasks
- Attend continuing education courses as requested
- Train other team members if/when necessary
- Ability to maintain composure and professionalism when exposed to stress or adversity
- Skilled use of standard office equipment

Qualifications:
- Current Orthodontic Assisting Experience
Scheduling Coordinator
Performance Expectations – Essential Functions:
- Schedule and adjust patient appointments to maximize the patient care experience.
- Verify insurance information prior to patient appointments.
- Courteously answer telephone, route calls, provide information and take messages in accordance with practice procedures.
- Establish and maintain patient records i.e. insurance, address, contact information.
- Keep Staff and Doctor informed of schedule changes, issues or concerns.
- Establish trust and care in all interactions.
- Greet visitors professionally and courteously.
- Maintain composure and professionalism when exposed to multifaceted situations.
- Knowledge of English composition, grammar, spelling and punctuation.
- Ability to prioritize, organize and complete tasks in a timely independent manner.
Success Patterns for this position are:
- 1-3 years of dental/orthodontic experience (preferred).
- Prior experience with orthodontic scheduling (preferred).
- A reputation for excellent demeanor with patients and colleagues.
- Worked effectively and contributed wholly as part of a team.

Orthodontic Assistant (Float)
Trax Orthodontics is looking for a clinical orthodontic assistant who is willing to also float and work the front desk if needed.
Performance Expectations:
- Effective communication and accurate patient education.
